A brainchild of novelist David Morrell, the Rambo movie series catapulted Sylvester Stallone’s career into the spotlight. A story about war veteran John James Rambo, the first film revolved around Rambo’s after-war adventures as he tries to live a normal life after a violent and war-driven lifestyle in Vietnam. Aided with superb fighting skills and unmatched physical strength, Rambo is an icon of extreme violence and aggression. Rambo’s adventures continued through a series of sequels, with the latest Rambo movie still in it’s pre-production stage.

If you can’t get enough of Rambo trivia, this fictitious character was born July, 1947 to a mother with German roots and a father with native American roots. As a highly distinguished soldier, Rambo was given several awards. These awards included the Medal of Honor, a Bronze Star, a Soldier’s Medal, an Expert Weapons qualification badge, an Army Service Ribbon, and other recognitions that made him a formidable force to his enemies. In Rambo: First Blood Part II, his fictional social security number was shown — 936-01-1758.
